In
1936, Mark and Mary Catherine Carter started in the funeral business in
Cutler.
In 1939, they purchased the present building, remodeled it, and
moved the funeral business from Cutler to Flora.
They continued to build a successful business and
service families with a commitment to fulfilling those
families’ needs and desires.
| Mark
Carter passed away in December of 1973, and we
purchased the funeral home from Mary Catherine
in January, 1974.
We continued the tradition of serving families with the same care and
dedication that the Carters started back in 1936.
Along
with at-need funeral services, we also offer pre-arrangement services, and sales
of monuments and markers.
